Virtually Scarless Surgery

Single incision laparoscopic surgery often referred to as “virtually scarless surgery”, is the latest minimally invasive procedure with little to no scarring and quicker recovery time. Dr. Anoosh has invented and developed a novel technique to perform Single Incision Lap Band and Gastric Bypass procedures. He does this using Stryker Needle Graspers, by means of a single incision hidden in the belly button. This allows precision and safety that cannot be achieved by other SILS techniques. Using this innovative technique, Dr. Anoosh is able to perform these procedures with greater safety and precision than the usual technique.

The Single Incision offers similar recovery times as standard laparoscopic surgery, which in many cases is still significantly better when compared to standard “open” surgery.
